Poppie celebrated his birthday so Kyra had to have a party. After her party, she thinks that everyone has a big bash with all the works. She asked what type of party Poppie was having and the first thing that came to mind was Bambi. Well, no one makes Bambi anything for birthdays but thankfully someone on ebay had a Bambi figurine which we used on the cake. Kyra picked out the pink "Party Girl" hats and of course we needed balloons. Kyra picked out Disney Princess ones for his party and said he would love them.
We spent the weekend at Grammie's house since Poppie is away. Kyra had a little accident....she got a hold of the old sweater de-baller razor type machines from about 10 years ago and decided she would turn it on and put it to her lips.
She obviously shaved her lips a bit and drew quite a bit of blood. She thought it was a terrible tragedy and couldn't help with anything for the rest of the day because "her lips had bleed" and she "wasn't feeling better."
Lesson learned, never shave your lips!

oh poor Kyra. hope her lips are better and working well enough to eat pumpkin pie tomorrow.....happy thanksgiving to all of you!
