Grammie's birthday

Things have been busy since our return from Aruba. Kyra picked up every germ possible on the plane and we have spent the weeks resting and going to the doctor. She is fine now. In the midst of that, we went to CT to Erin's baby shower (3 more weeks until Lucia arrives!!!)

and had a birthday party for Grammie. Kyra is very concerned that everyone has a full party just like she does so we picked a theme.... lizards (based on our travels to Aruba where Kyra saw many iguanas). She found a recipe for a snake cake from a cook book she got for Christmas (thank you Donna!) and we improvised to make it a lizard.Everyone had to wear their party hats!
