Postcards from Iceland - Part II

We booked a full day bus tour of the Golden Circle. Here are some pictures and info from that tour.

Gulfoss, the biggest waterfall in Iceland.

Strokkur (“the churn”), a geyser which spouts a 60-100 foot jet about once every five minutes.
Kerio, a volcanic crater lake.
Þingvellir (Thingvellir) is the National Park where the Althing – an open-air assembly, which represented the whole of Iceland – was established in 930 and continued to meet until 1798.
We also went on a whale watch but all we saw were puffins. Todd and Fiona also sampled the puffin appetizer during our road trip (more details on that later). Unlike other things, it certainly did NOT look like chicken and according to Todd, didn't taste like chicken either. My Icelandic indulgence - skyr. I even brought some home!!
