When your child's teacher asks if you want to take home some tadpoles to raise...just say NO. We took home two and it was more of a chore than we had anticipated. Not to mention the fact that our child was only interested in the process for about 3 seconds. Thanks to the feedback from another mom, we put levels of rocks in so the tadpoles could get up on the rocks and not drown once they became frogs and lost their tails which seemed to happen overnight. And overnight, Diddy the frog (seen on the lower left side of the rocks below), jumped on the rock and out of the container onto my countertop. Thankfully I found him or I would be freaking out. He has since been released into the wild of the pond in our yard.

If Diddy made it to the pond, what happened to the other tadpole you were duped into "raising"? --Silas' mom
