We had a very busy 4th of July. First we met Caroline and she and Kyra participated in the "People's Parade" in our town. We talked the parade route with tons of others. The girls waved their flags and the crowd clapped. Kyra didn't really understand that we were the parade because she kept asking when we were going to the parade.
Then, Kyra heard the call of a birthday party and birthday cake and we were off to her friend Olivia's 4th Birthday party.
Not without spending some time playing with Daddy on Olivia's swingset.
Then she was very busy helping Olivia blow out the candles on her cake.
Next we went to another party where Mommy and Kyra swam (I'll spare you those pictures) and Kyra bounced on their trampoline. Then she roasted marshmellows with Aunt Melissa.
Watched crazy Daddy use the zip line.
And truly enjoyed the fireworks. Her face lite up and she clapped so loud, it was priceless.
